Portal does more than just provide ambient sounds from real-life locations to help focus, relax, mediate, or even sleep. The app uses beautiful scenes and even ties in your smart lights to create an immersive experience.
The app previously offered support for Philips Hue bulbs. But with a recent update that integration is getting even better with support for Nanoleaf and all HomeKit bulbs.
Now with just a single tap you can sync all of your smart bulbs, even across multiple rooms and connections, with the app’s visuals.
Wakeup alarm lighting in the app will now also match the chosen wakeup portal.
Portal is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
To get the most out of the app, you’ll need a premium subscription that’s $39.99 per year. There is a free, seven-day trial.
Now that many of us are spending more time at home, Portal is a great way to just transport yourself to somewhere else without steeping foot outside. And the new smart lighting integration makes it even easier to experience all that the app has to offer.
