To celebrate World Emoji Day, Apple has teased some of the new emoji set to arrive with iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra this fall. The previews are being shown today, July 17, on the App Store and in iTunes.

As we explained last month, 56 new emoji characters are on tap for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Some of the new characters, according to Emojipedia, include face vomiting, the Bitcoin symbol, hedgehog, two different dinosaurs (T-rex and sauropad), mermaid, broccoli, heart, pretzel, sandwich, and many more.

To see the new emoji previewed, visit the App Store’s main page and the Movie section in iTunes.

Both iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra should be released to the public in September.

On July 17, 2002, Apple unveiled the company’s iCal app at Macworld 2002. From then forward, July 17 became World Emoji Day. For more information the day, visit #WorldEmojiDay on Twitter.
