Apple Officially Announces the New iPad Air With M1 Chip, 5G Connectivity
The big highlight is the addition of the same M1 chip found in the iPad Pro and Mac lines.
Another update is a new 12-megapixel front camera with Center Stage that will always keep the speaker in view.
And just like the iPhone SE, the iPad Air now offers 5G connectivity.
It’s available in five colors.
The tablet will retail for $599, the same price as the previous generation. It will be available in a 64GB and 256GB edition. You can also choose a Wi-Fi only or version with both Wi-Fi and 5G.
You can order starting Friday with order arriving the next week on March 18.
