According to Apple, the update offers security fixes.
It arrives a little more than a week after iOS and iPadOS 13.5 landed with Face ID tweaks for mask wearers and other additional changes.
Additionally, Apple also released watchOS 6.2.6 with unspecified security fixes.
You can download the update now on the companion Watch app by going to the My Watch tab and selecting General > Software Update. On an Apple Watch, you can also update by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
When updating, the watch needs to have more than 50 percent power, placed on a charger and in range of an iPhone.
