Apple Watch users can now also download watchOS 9.4

The watchOS 9.4 update can be downloaded now through the companion Watch app on your iPhone by heading to General > Software Update in the My Watch portion of the app. You can also go to Settings > General > Software Update on an Apple Watch.

That update also brings the new emoji in the iOS/iPadOS 16.4.

Also, a wake-up alarm that’s set in Sleep mode will no longer be silenced when using the cover to mute gesture. So you won’t have to worry about accidentally turning off the alarm.

AFib history is now also available for users in Colombia, Malaysia, Moldova, Thailand, and Ukraine.

tvOS 16.4 should automatically be downloaded to an Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K.

If you haven’t already enabled automatic updates, you can download the software by heading to Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software. Right the button to update software is the toggle switch to turn on automatic updates.

There are no known new features. The update likely features smaller improvements and bug fixes.
