Apple's Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro is Now Available to Order
First announced in March, Apple’s Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro is now available to order.
A Full-Sized Keyboard
The keyboard with a built-in trackpad is $299 for the 11-inch tablet and $349 for the 12-inch model.
With iPadOS 13.4, Apple brought support for Bluetooth mice and trackpads. Most apps will work with the functionality. On the iPad screen, the cursor will be shown as a small dot and will adapt to the content on the screen. When not in use, the cursor will disappear.
With the Magic Keyboard trackpad, you can use a number of multi-touch gestures just like on a Mac. For example, you can use three fingers to switch between spaces and pinch to zoom in.
The Magic Keyboard attaches magnetically to the iPad Pro, and you can adjust the viewing angle up to 130 degrees. There is also a passthrough USB-C port for charging or using other accessories.
A full-sized keyboard features backlit keys and a scissor mechanism.
You can use the Magic Keyboard with both the current and 2018 models of iPad Pro.
