Big iA Writer Update Brings Wikilinks Feature and More
One of the best writing apps available, iA Writer, has recently received a huge update with the move to version 6.0.
First up, the Wikilinks feature takes inspiration from the ever-present Wikipedia.
You can use a wikilink to make a link from one text file to another to better help connect, browse, and rediscover your writing,
WIth the new navigation history, you can keep track of files opened using wikilcnks, Library, or Quick Search.
A new Lightning menu provides fast access to formatting commands and features directly from the keyboard bar.
On an iPad, you can now also preview work in real-time and side-by-side.
Other additions include autocompletion for hashtags, automatic detection for all links, and six color choices for highlighted text.
Designed for the iPhone and all iPad models, iA Writer is a $49.99 download on the App Store now. There are no subscriptions or other in-app purchases.
There is also a separate Mac version available for $49.99 as well.
