Bizarre App of the Week: Voodoo Doll of My Ex
There are unusual apps in every corner of the App Store. Some are silly games like Find the Invisible Cow, while others are peculiar comic book apps like Planet of the Squirrels. This week’s bizarre app is a little out there as well, however I cannot help but wonder if it many might be interested in grabbing it. Voodoo Doll of My Ex is this week’s pick and yes, it is what it sounds like.
What is it?
Make it authentic
Give your doll the name of your ex and if you haven’t deleted all of their photos yet, pick a good one to make the face of the doll. Nice touch, huh? When you are finished, you can post your revengeful photo of your doll victim directly to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Or, just save it to your device for some satisfaction.
Choose your weapon
You can pick as many devices and tools to torture your doll victim as you please. Needles, pencils, staples, and clothes pins can all be jabbed right in or clipped right on. You can even splatter some paint or a tomato to make things just a little more embarrassing for them.
Get more dolls
You will start off with the basic voodoo doll, but there are a couple more options with in-app purchases. This is especially handy for guys who want that pretty, girly-looking doll to represent their ex of the female gender.
What makes it bizarre?
I am pretty sure you know what makes this bizarre. A digital representation of your ex that you are allowed to torture and humiliate right in your pocket? It could be considered quite morbid. It is odd, it is vengeful, and the intense tribal music actually makes you feel a bit evil as you poke, stab, jab, clip, and staple.
Is it worth a look?
Heck yes, why not? If you have an ex that you would love to do this to in person, but of course cannot because it is, well, illegal, then this app might be just what you need to vent those frustrations.
