Update: Apple's Eddy Cue Was Not Talking to Rihanna
Rihanna and Eddy Cue weren’t duking it out after all.
There was something that looked like a heated exchange last night during the first game of the NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. And no, the would-be confrontation didn’t involve any of the players on the court.

During Thursday’s game in Oakland, California, LeBron James fan Rihanna had what appeared to be a little bit of a shouting match with Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president, Internet software and services. The would-be confrontation, not surprisingly, was captured and put on Twitter as a GIF:

Cue, who’s a huge Warriors fan, was clearly annoyed about something. However, once the GIF leaked, Cue said he wasn’t addressing his frustration at the singer.
He noted:
Game 2 of the NBA Finals is Sunday, June 4 beginning at 5 p.m. PDT from the Oracle Center in Oakland. The Warriors led the seven-game series, 1-0.
