CARROT Weather Update Arrives With Tab Bar Customization, Location Lists Forecasts and More
CARROT Weather has just gained a number of new features with an update to version 5.6.
One of the best new features is the ability to customize the tab bar. The first tab bar item will become the default starting screen for the app.
You can now also view forecasts for five of your favorite locations on the Locations screen. On the screen, you can customize forecast length, display style, and even the data point shown.
There is also new layout sections for solar, moon, air quality, pollen or tide.
The app’s maps, which launched with a major update in early February, has also added support to see a wintry mix of precipitation along with the existing rain and snow.
Other changes include new secret locations and a redesigned locations detail screen.
CARROT Weather is destined for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
Anyone who downloads the app will be able to find weather conditions on an iOS device or Apple Watch, change CARROT’s personality, and search for secret locations. Access to any other features will require a subscription.
There are three subscription levels that unlock a wide variety of additional features.
