Meatbags, Rejoice! Carrot Weather Update Brings Complete Redesign and More
One of the best, and definitely the funniest, weather app available for the iPhone and iPad – Carrot Weather – has just received a big update.
The main screen of the app has been redesigned to show much more weather information.
Most notably, the app has now been redesigned and looks great. The main screen of the app shows all of the information you’re looking for including the current temperature, a short-term forecast, and long-term outlook.
Along with 1,000 new lines of fun and humorous dialog, users can now choose Carrot’s personality from one of four options – friendly, snarky, homicidal, and overkill. You can also turn off all of the fun features, but I don’t know why you’d want to.
Other additions include forecasts for a number of new secret locations including Chernobyl and the Titanic wreck. Also, you’ll be able rename saved locations and pinpoint their exact location on a map.
Previously reserved for the Apple Watch, the Premium Club membership can now be used on the iPhone and iPad. Some of the added options include extra data points, multiple weather data sources, extra Apple Watch complications and more.
Apple Watch users can also select from Weather Underground data with a Ultrapremium Club membership.
Carrot Weather is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for $3.99.
The Premium Club membership can be unlocked with a $0.49 per month or $2.49 per year in-app purchase. The Ultrapremium Club in-app purchase is $1.49 per month or $9.99 per year.
