Chirp for Apple Watch Gets Even Better With Video and GIF Support

July 10, 2018

Arriving in June, Chirp for Twitter provided a great way for fans of the social network to view information on their Apple Watch. And a new update has brought a number of new and notable features.

Probably the best new feature in version 1.1.1 is the ability to zoom in on images, which is perfect for the small screen of the Apple Watch.

Other media-related additions include support for both videos and GIFs. Users can now also customize the order of the main menu.

And along with clickable links, the app now can support Twitlonger and albums.

The free app can be downloaded now on the App Store.

After downloading the app, you’ll need to add it to an Apple Watch. You can then open up the iPhone app to add your Twitter credentials.

With an in-app purchase, you can unlock the Chirp Pro tier. Features include the ability to post tweets, reply to tweets, view and send direct messages, search for users and tweets, and view more than five trends.

Using a pay what you want model, you can unlock all of those features for $1.99, $2.99, or $4.99.
