D-Link's HomeKit-Enabled Camera, the Omna 180 HD, Now Available Through Apple
After first being announced last month at CES 2017, D-Link’s Omna 180 HD Camera is now available to purchase through Apple. The Apple HomeKit-enabled camera retails for $199.95.

The camera can be controlled with the companion app and the stock Home app in iOS 10.
The camera is one of the first available that is compatible with Apple’s smart home protocol. Thanks to a motion detector, the camera can be tied in with other HomeKit products. For example, if the camera detects motion, it can automatically activate a specific scene or other specific devices like smart lights.
A standout feature looks to be the 180-degree field-of-view that should easily show you every part of a room. Users will be able to see in complete darkness up to 16 feet away from the camera thanks to built-in night vision.
Along with two-way audio, the camera can record video locally using the built-in microSDXC slot. The camera can be set to automatically record and notify a user when any motion is detected.
Exclusively through Apple
You can purchase the camera now through Apple’s online store. It should arrive at your local Apple Store later this month.
