Delightfully Brutal Bullet-Hell Shooter Gets Cute Xmas Level

Bullet-hell top-down shooter title Sky Force Reloaded has a special surprise for gamers with its latest update.
Developer Infinite Dreams Inc. has dropped a little slice of the holidays into the brutally fun game with a high-scoring tournament level that’s all about Christmastime, with enemy cookies, hostile snowmen, vicious candy canes, and more all trying to take down your gingerbread spaceship as you swoop and zoom around the obstacles and make your way to the end of the level intact.
Here’s a quick video showing the level, which seems to appear after you’ve beaten level 4.
The update to the bullet-hell game also brings a new friend system, a visual update to the Card Radar system, and adds nine new player avatars. You’ll even get special holiday-themed presents to open, like a 30-minute star doubler to help you get more stars, faster, to upgrade your ship.
The Christmas tournament level and the other improvements above are all available as a free update for current users, and the full Sky Force Reloaded game is free to download in the App Store now.
