Fender Play Is a New Guitar-Learning Service and App
Fender Musical Instruments Corporation has announced a new partnership with Apple that brings new curated playlists to Apple Music. The announcement comes soon after the iconic brand introduced a new guitar learning program called Fender Play.
On Apple Music, you’ll now find five unique playlists that celebrate all things Fender and the company’s legendary guitars. Fender joins 66 other high-profile curators on the music service, including Beats by Dr. Dre, Nike, Complex, Rolling Stone, Disney, VICE, Pitchfork, and more.
According to Evan Jones, CMO at Fender:
We’re pleased to partner with Apple, to bring a Fender-curated music experience to long-time Fender fans and those just discovering the brand. Whether it’s falling in love with the next up-and-coming artist or rediscovering one of the most epic guitar solos ever recorded on a Stratocaster – these five new playlists honor a diverse range of iconic artists and visionaries, and an emerging generation of artists, who are driving guitar and music forward.
In other news, Fender Play is a new digital lesson platform designed to keep would-be guitarists interested in playing their instrument long-term. With the lessons, you can choose from hundreds of songs for acoustic and electric guitar in 5 genres: rock, pop, country, blues, and folk.
Fender Play is available via the web and through a free iOS app. Membership costs $19.99 per month after a 30-day free trial.
