After a two-week beta test that required an invitation, Fortnite is now available to play by any iPhone or iPad user.
The multiplayer battle game pits 100 players against each other with the last person standing declared as the winner. To start, each player will land on the map at a random spot from a flying bus. You’ll need to gather weapons and other resources.
Thanks to cross-platform compatibility, iOS users can play against gamers on the Mac, PC, and other consoles.
Fortnite can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. It requires an iPhone SE/iPhone 6S or later. For iPads, you’ll need an iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017, iPad 2018, or any iPad Pro.
