Google App Update Brings iMessage Extension for Quick Searching
The official Google app has just been updated with a number of notable new features.
The updated app now also supports drag and drop on the iPad.
First up, the app now offers an iMessage extension. Users can now search Google without needing to leave a conversation. Along with restaurants, videos, and more, you can also search for and send GIFs with the extension.
To use the extension, just tap the Google icon in the iMessage App Drawer.
You can now also search Google from any browser to view related content about the page you’ve found. Just select the Google icon from the Share menu.
Finally, iPad users can take advantage of drag and drop functionality when using the app.
The Google app is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now for free.
