Instagram has just rolled out a new Data Download feature that will allow users to obtain a file with their photos, videos, messages, and additional information from the social network.
The new tool was introduced to comply with the forthcoming GDPR data privacy law in the European Union. But any Instagram user can access the feature on the WEb as long as they are logged into their account.
After making a request on the site, you’ll receive a link via email to a file with all of the information. Instagram notes that it could take 48 hours to receive the data.
While currently accessible on the web, an Instagram spokesperson told TechCrunch the tool is currently rolling out to iOS and Android users.
