Google Maps Will Now Help You Remember Where You Parked
A new Google Maps feature is now making it a little more easy to help you find where you parked.
Automatic for some users
If you connect to your car's entertainment system via USB or Bluetooth, the app will automatically save your parking location, much like in Apple Maps.
In the app, tap the blue dot that represents your location. Then select “Set as parking location” to add it to the map.
Select the parking label to open up a parking card. You can share information with friends and view pictures of the parking area.
Much like Apple Maps, the app now also offers automatic parking detection if you connect to your car’s entertainment system via USB or Bluetooth. After disconnecting your iPhone and leaving the vehicle, your space will automatically be saved in the app.
Google Maps is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the Just last month, the app added a handy real-time location tracking feature.
