A new purported “iPhone 8” schematic recently leaked online shows the rear of the handset with a vertical, dual-lens camera and no Touch ID sensor.

No one has taken credit for the leak, but it seems to show the placement for the wireless charging technology.

No one has taken credit for the leak and has appeared at a number of locations.

The most interesting omission is no rear Touch ID. A number of recent leaks indicated that Apple would be forced to move the biometric sensor to the rear of the device because of problems embedding the technology under the display, which will apparently lack any type of home button. Also in the center of the image looks to be some type of wireless charging technology.

Interestingly, the schematic does line up with images of a new “iPhone 8” dummy unit that leaked this weekend. That showed a glass front and rear held together by a stainless steel frame.
