Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Arrives on April 25
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has an official launch date and we now know the iOS game will feature voiceovers from some of the films’ original cast members.
First teased in January, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery by developer JamCity arrives on Wednesday, April 25. It will feature voiceovers from the following:
- Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall)
- Michael Gambon (Professor Dumbledore)
- Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick)
- Sally Mortemore (Madam Irma Pince)
- Gemma Jones (Madam Pomfrey)
- Zoe Wanamaker (Madam Hooch)
In the free-to-play mobile game, players will be able to create their own unique character and experience life at the wizarding school. It’s set before Harry’s arrival to the school.
As Brent Dirk originally noted, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery won’t be the only Harry Potter game to arrive for the iPhone and iPad this year.
In November, Niantic announced that it will follow-up the immensely popular Pokémon Go with Harry Potter: Wizards Unite later this year. The augmented reality game will see players explore their own neighborhoods and surroundings to discover and battle legendary beasts and team up to fight big battles.
