Investigative Thriller Telling Lies Lands on the App Store
Developer Sam Barlow made a name for himself with the wonderful Her Story. Arriving in 2015, the game can best be described as a work of interactive fiction where gamers are tasked as a detective to solve a murder. Players review hundreds of different video clips while trying to piece together the mystery.
Decide the Truth
And Barlow’s new Telling Lies offers more of that same intrigue with a different premise.
In the game, you’ll sit in front of an anonymous laptop with a stolen NSA database of video footage. The secretly recorded footage is of four people linked by a shocking incident.
You’ll explore the database of video, taken over two years, by typing in search terms. You can watch the clips where those words are spoken.
Those different clips will help you better understand the story.
Designed for the iPhone and all iPad models, Telling Lies can be downloaded now on the App Store for $6.99.
