Report: Apple Sold 6 Million iPhone X Units on Black Friday
Lots of iPhone X units fell off the shelves last week.
Shoppers fell in love with the Apple iPhone X on Black Friday. On the day after Thanksgiving, six million units of Apple’s flagship device were sold with demand for the 256GB model nearly twice that of the 64GB model, according to Rosenblatt China Technology analyst Jun Zhang.
In total, the analyst believes Apple sold 15 million iPhone units on Black Friday. For the current quarter, which ends next month, Zhang says iPhone X sales could top 30 million units. Apple has noted it will sell 80 million iPhone units overall during the same period.
The iPhone X officially launched on Nov 3, which was seven weeks after the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus debuted. All three handsets were announced in early September.
