Landing This Spring, Jurassic World Alive Combines AR and Dinosaurs
Dinosaurs will soon roam the Earth in the newly announced Jurassic World Alive game. Arriving sometime this spring, the Pokémon Go-like game will use both AR and location-based technology.
While playing, gamers can collect dinosaurs while walking around the neighborhoods and cities. Along with a number of different dinosaur species, there are also in-game incubators.
Gamers can find dinos by finding them on a map and deploying an in-game drone to collect DNA. After creating genetically modified dinosaurs in a lab, they can then be used in real-time, player-vs.-player battles to earn rewards.
You’ll also be able to take photos and videos of the dinosaurs you collect during gameplay.
The game will arrive on the App Store, and for Android devices, before “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” hits theaters on Friday, June 22.
