Learn Math Facts Focuses on Teaching in a Positive Environment
While many adults might consider math a dirty word, those skills continue to become a more integral part of children’s education and their future.
And Learn Math Facts provides a positive way for kids to improve their math skills.
Unlike some apps, kids of different ages can easily use Learn Math Facts. It starts with basic math, like addition and subtraction, and goes all the way to more advanced concepts like square roots and more.
Starting with the basic operations - addition, subratction, multiplication, and division - kids can select a basic, intermediate, or advanced level. They can also choose to work on all four concepts at once or just one operation.
They can then select to practice for 1, 2, or 3 minutes in one session.
The more advanced skills can also be worked on in the same quick sessions.
One of the best features of the app is the multiple ways that kids can answer. Along with using their finger or stylus like an Apple Pencil to write the answer, they can also speak the answer.
To help motivate them to keep working on the skills, there are a number of achievements to earn.
We’ve been using the app at my house, and have really been impressed. It’s great that both my daughter in middle school and son in elementary school can use it to practice their math knowledge. They both have really enjoyed being able to just speak the answer and choose different colors to write it down with an Apple Pencil.
