Logitech Unveils New CRAFT Keyboard With Smart Dial, MX Sound Bluetooth Speaker
Logitech is focusing on the desktop with two of its latest accessories – the CRAFT Keyboard and MX Sound Bluetooth Speaker.
A keyboard for creatives
Made for both the Mac and PC, the headlining feature of the CRAFT is a creative input dial called the crown.
Located in the upper left corner, the touch-sensitive dial can activate specific features depending on what is being worked on.
Along with program-specific actions, you can also adjust volume, change desktops, and navigate between apps. The Crown can also be used for one specific function in your other apps.
Mac users can customize options in Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC and Adobe Premiere. PC users can take advantage of those programs along with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
The keyboard itself features backlit keys that automatically adjust brightness depending on the surroundings and increased key stability.
Retailing for $199.99, the keyboard will officially arrive in October and can be preordered now.
Desktop sound
While designed for a desktop, the speakers can also easily pair to an iPhone or iPad.
And along with the new premium keyboard, Logitech also announced the MX Sound Bluetooth speaker designed for the desktop.
The 2.0 speaker set can provide up to 24 watts of peak power. You can easily pair other Bluetooth devices or adjust volume with the motion activated and backlit touch controls.
Along with Bluetooth, there are two 3.5mm inputs and even a headphone jack.
MX Sound will be available in October and retail for $99.99. You can preorder it now directly from Logitech’s site.
