Lumy Update Brings Beautiful Redesign for Apple TV and Much More
Are you looking for a great way to use a new Apple TV 4K for more than just watching video and playing games? Take a look at Lumy.
The app, known for being a tool for photographers and others to track the sun, is getting some major new features in the version 4.5 update.
On the Apple TV, you can take advantage of a new photo frame mode. That allows anyone to mount both sun and moon data like an elegant piece of art on their TV screen. You can use the Siri Remote to switch between the moon or sun info and photo frame styles.
That same moon information is now also available on the iPhone and iPad version of the app. There are also new moon widgets to put the data on a home screen. The existing sun widget is now customizable so you can count down to other sun events like the sunrise or sunset for a specific location.
Other additions include Siri Shortcuts support and a redesigned iPad app.
And on the Apple Watch, the app is sporting a number of new complications that can be combined to create a single watch face with sun or moon information.
Lumy is a universal app for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. It’s available to download for $4.99.
