Molecano is a New Word Puzzler from the Creator of Dadish
You probably know Thomas Young’s Dadish series. Spanning four games, players take on the role of titular Dad, who also happens to be a radish. In each retro platformer, his kids are missing, and you need to reunite the family.
Earlier this year, Young introduced Daily Dadish. That game features 365 levels with each only only playable for one day a year so you have to check back each day to finish all of the levels. During each day, you can attempt the levels as many time as you want in the difficult challenge.
And Young is branching out with his latest fun game, Molecano. Instead of a platformer, the new title is a unique word puzzler with the same fun sense of humor.
Prepare to kick back and relax, in a volcano. The premise is simple, you need to help Molene the mole explore the lava landscape using words as a bridge. You need to string words together so she can cross safely and chow down and all of the good spread across each level.
Your words are limited in each level, so much sure to use them wisely. To help you create a path, you can rotate the words in a vertical position.
If you create a 5 or 6 letter word in a level, you will receive coins. Make sure to save those to unlock new characters.
There are 400 levels to explore with more planned in the future.
When stuck, there are a number of ways to help solve the level. You can completely reset the board if you made a mistake. You can also use a hint. It’s also possible to scramble the available letters to help spark your brain.
Molecano is a free download now on the App Store. It’s for the iPhone and all iPad models. A $5.99 in-app purchase will remove all of the ads in the game.
