The Mother’s Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge is coming this week.

Apple Watch users in the United States have some extra incentive to get out and enjoy the day on Sunday, May 14. On that day, you can compete in a Mother’s Day challenge.

The Mother’s Day Activity Challenge will allow you to earn a special achievement medal and iMessage sticker.

As Apple explains:

Earn this rose badge and a special Messages sticker on Mother’s Day. Just do a walk, run, or wheelchair workout of a mile or more in the Workout app or in any third party app that writes these workouts to Health.

The Mother’s Day promotion is the fourth such challenge for Apple Watch users. In November, Apple gave Apple Watch users in the U.S. the ability to earn a special achievement that was shaped like a turkey. The Thanksgiving Day challenge was awarded to anyone who recorded at least 5K (3.1 miles) through a run, walk, or wheelchair workout on the holiday.

In January, you could achieve a New Year’s challenge by closing all three Activity rings each day for an entire week in January. Last month, the Earth Day achievement was awarded to anyone who recorded 30 minutes of activity.

The Mother’s Day achievement is only available to U.S. Apple Watch users. The first such day was first celebrated in the U.S. on May 10, 1908.
