Pad & Quill Hits the Mark with its New Leather Coaster for HomePod
If you’re concerned about a HomePod possibly creating white marks on your wooden furniture, Pad & Quill has an answer with its Leather Coaster.
Even though you won't be seeing much of it, the coaster is available in black or white.
Earlier this week, Apple confirmed that placing a HomePod on wood surfaces with specific finishes can possibly cause damage in the form of white rings.
In a support document, Apple said the rings are caused by a chemical reaction between the silicone base and oils on a table surface.
But the Minneapolis-based Pad & Quill is quickly coming to the rescue with its Leather Coaster. Made with full-grain leather, the coaster is 4 inches in diameter and will completely be covered by the base of Apple’s smart speaker.
Available in black or brown, the Leather Coaster is $19.95 and available in brown or black. Currently, any orders will ship in three to five days.
