Since the iPhone X does not have a home button, using Apple Pay will be slightly different than with previous iPhone models, including the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.
Now users will be able to pay by pressing the side button twice, similar to how it’s done on the Apple Watch. Or, you can authenticate it by looking at your phone and using FaceID to pay. It’s different than using TouchID, but it’s much faster.
With the technology behind FaceID and the TrueDepth camera system, it seems much more secure and a better way to pay and protect your device.
