The biggest change is readily apparent from the home screen. A new design allows users to focus more on their pins.

It is now also universally readable in 31 different languages including Kanji, Roman, and Cyrillic.

Thanks to other improvements under the hood, the home feed should now load up to three times faster compared to earlier versions which is definitely great news.

Pinterest is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

If you’re interested in the inner workings of app design and more, the Pinterest Engineering team also wrote an interesting blog post detailing some of the changes. Thanks to the complete redesign of the app, Pinterest’s Garrett Moon said the company can now add features much faster in the future.
