Reddit App Users Can Now Share Posts Directly to Snapchat

October 14, 2019

Users of the official Reddit app can now directly share posts to Snapchat in a new integration announced today.

Reddit app users can select the Share icon on a post. As long as they have the Snapchat app installed, they will see the Snapchat icon and a Share to Camera option. The content can be sent directly to friends or posted to a story.

On Snapchat, the content will appear with a Reddit logo, an image, and the link to the content. When another user clicks on it, the Reddit app will open. If the person doesn’t have the Reddit app installed, they will be sent to the App Store link.

The feature, according to Reddit, may eventually include other social media sites.

The official Reddit app can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. It’s designed for both the iPhone and all iPad models.
