Resident Evil 4 Hits iPhone, iPad, and Mac December 20

First announced at the iPhone 15 event in September, the remake of Resident Evil 4 will be available on the App Store on Wednesday, Dec 20.

In the remake of Resident Evil 4, you’ll join Leon S. Kennedy six years after surviving the biological disaster of Raccoon City. Now reporting directly to he President of the United States, he is dispatched to an isolated village to rescue the president’s missing daughter.

At the village, there is something terribly wrong with the locals.

Along with modernized gameplay, the game features a reimagined storyline, and improved graphics.

The game will be available to play on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, all iPad models with an M1 chip or later and all Macs with Apple M-series chips.

According to Apple, the game is only available on the newest models because the A17 Pro processor is capable of hardware-accelerated ray tracing and an improved GPU.

You can pre-order Resident Evil 4 now on the App Store for free with a limited part of the game. A $59.99 in-app purchase will be required to unlock the entire base game.

An extra DLC pack will be an additional $19.99. There are also purchases for weapon upgrades available.

As a universal purchase, the game will be playable on all of your compatible devices. You can also start play on one device and then continue right where you left off on another.
