Ring Launches a New Ring Protect Home Security System
Ring is continuing to expand its product lineup with the announcement of the new Ring Protect home security system.
The system comes with a keypad, base station, contact sensor, infrared sensor, and Z-wave extender.
A complete home security system with a reasonable $199 price, buyers will receive a keypad, base station, contact sensor, infrared sensor, and Z-wave extender.
Even though the system isn’t compatible with Apple’s HomeKit, you will receive a notification on your iPhone if a break-in is ever protected.
For an additional $10 per month of $100 per year, you can purchase professional 24/7 monitoring. No contract is required.
No tools are needed to install the system and it works with other Ring products like the Video Doorbell and Floodlight Cam.
Additional door and window sensors can also be purchased if needed.
Landing in November, the Ring Protect system can be preordered now from Ring’s site and a number of other retailers including BestBuy.com and HomeDepot.com.
