Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion Arrives for iPhone
The classic strategy game Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion is now available for iPhone while adding a number of gameplay improvements.
You’ll need an iPhone 5s or later to play the game. The update offers a UI specifically for the smaller screen of the smartphone and is built with Apple’s Metal graphics. It is now also optimized for the screen of the 11-inch iPad Pro.
In the game, you can select one of 18 different playable factions that can defend Rome from the barbarian hordes or mastermind the city’s destruction.
Players will engage in real-time battles with turn-based strategy.
Other improvements in the update include a first-time help system, improved character details and a function summary, increased zoom out on the Battle map and increased zoom-in on the Campaign map.
Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99.
If you've previously downloaded the title for iPad, you can download the game on an iPhone for free. You'll also be able to transfer games saves to the smaller screen.
