Say Hello to the Colorful New iPad
Apple has just unveiled the new, low-end tablet. As you can see, it is available four colors—blue, pink, yellow, and silver.
Along with a larger, 10.9-inch screen, the tablet says goodbye the venerable home button. In its place is a Touch ID top button.
The tablet also uses the A14 Bionic chip that offers a 20 percent increase in CPU performance and 10 percent improvement in graphics compared to the ninth-generation model.
A first for any iPad, the front-facing camera is now on the landscape edge of the tablet so you’ll always be looking into the camera. It also support Center Stage that will pan and zoom to keep you in the center of the frame.
Dual microphones are also made to work in unison with the cameras to help minimize background noise.
The tablet also supports Wi-Fi 6 and a USB-C port.
You can purchase the iPad starting today. It will officially arrive next Wednesday, October 26. The Wi-Fi models starts at $449 with the Wi-Fi+ Cellular edition is $100 more.
It’s also available in a 64GB or 256GB configuration.
A Magic Keyboard Folio for the iPad is also available for the first time. It’s $249 and available in white. It’s unique keyboard can be folded behind the iPad or completely detached.
