Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert Takes You on a Delicious Adventure
The stretchy mutt in Nitrome’s Silly Sausage in Meat Land is back for an all-new adventure. But this time, the elongating dachshund is going on a journey across a dessert dreamland in Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert.
Like its predecessor, Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert lets you simply swipe to control the direction of elongation of the stretchy pooch. Unlike its predecessor, where meat-cutting instruments are the chief threats, Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert features various dessert-themed traps and enemies. The sequel also includes special side challenges for you to complete and even an epic boss fight for you to win at the end.
Swipe to stretch
Like the original game, Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert employs simple stretch-based mechanics with simple swipe-based controls. Just swipe up, down, left, or right to stretch through the air in that direction. Latch onto a surface to restore to normal size, particularly when over-stretching is likely to put you in trouble. Be sure to collect gems along the way as these will come in handy.
Clear paths and avoid traps
From cherry bombs to enemy cream, Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert has desert-themed traps and obstacles aplenty. Avoid them, eat through them, or use them to your advantage for you to be able to get to the next checkpoint and to the epic boss battle against a deadly layered wedding cake at the end.
Take on special challenges
New to Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert are special time-based side challenge rooms with cute collectible dog treats as prizes. Just look for the red bone-marked pipes at certain spots along the way to enter them.
Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert offers more of what makes the original game so great — simple swipe controls, a risk-based restart system, and quirky graphics, just to name a few — and adds some new stuff for good measure. Its variety of traps, enemies, and obstacles, not to mention the inclusion of side quests, makes each attempt at reaching the next checkpoint — and ultimately the epic boss battle — a delicious challenge.
Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert is available now on the App Store for free, with a $3.99 in-app purchase for removing ads. In the game, ads usually appear as an option for unlocking challenge rooms and for enabling checkpoints in lieu of gems.
