Slack App Update Brings New Navigation Bar and More Changes
For many of us, especially now during the coronavirus pandemic, Slack is a must-have tool to keep in touch with coworkers and better plan what needs to be done at work.
Quick Navigation Gestures
And Slack has just released an updated version of its iOS app to make navigation easier.
The biggest change is a new navigation bar on the bottom of the screen. There are four sections – Home, DMs, Mentions, and You. That allows you to easily find the major section of the app quickly.
There are also new quick gestures to quickly navigate. From any tab, just swipe right to open a list of workspaces or left to return to the last conversation. When in a conversation, swipe right to get back to the last tab.
To quickly start a new conversation, you can now use the Compose button. It’s now also easier to start a voice call in a DM or group DM.
Slack is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
