Slopes is the Perfect Companion App for Skiers or Snowboarders

If you’re looking to track all of your fun in the snow, definitely check out Slopes. One of the winners of the 2022 Apple Design Awards, the app will log detailed stats about your ski or snowboarding run and much more.

One of the best features is access to digital trail maps from thousands of resorts worldwide. For a number of resorts, you’ll even have the option to see an interactive digital trail map. After the run you can see information like speed, vertical run, time, and much more.

Before heading out for the day, you can also see what other skiers are saying about the conditions and see other information like weather forecasts, trail stats, and more.

With an Apple Watch, you can see live information with like heart rate data.

And the app is ready to go this season with all of the latest Apple device features.

A recent update brings support for the Apple Watch Ultra Action button so you can quickly start a workout. There is also an option to automatically start the water lock on any Apple Watch after starting a workout.

On your iPhone, the app also supports Live Activities so you can see customizable stats about the day and more without needing to unlock your phone. You can also add lock screen widgets from the app.

Slopes is a free download on the App Store and for the iPhone and all iPad models.

The free version offers unlimited recording, daily summary of stats, resort conditions and trail maps, and leaderboards with friends.

A premium version is available for a subscription that costs $29.99 per year.

That brings run-by-run stats, winter maps/speed heat maps offline trail maps, virtual 3D mountains and more. You can also purchase a family plan for $49.99 to use the premium features with up to five additional family members.
