One of the best keyboard alternatives for iOS devices, SwiftKey, has just made the move to version 2.0 with a recent update.

Along with the two new animated themes, the default options have a new look.

Most importantly, the keyboard now supports a whopping 60 new languages – everything from Cyrillic Serbian to Zulu. All told, the app now offers support for 106 different languages. To change languages just takes a few steps. After opening the app, select Languages. You can download up to two languages and use both at once. The keyboard will automatically detect which language you are typing in and offer predictions.

Users will also notice a redesigned look including a new icon. The two default themes – Nickel Light and Nickel Dark – feature a cleaner look while there are two new animated themes to choose from – Zig Zag and Cogs.

SwiftKey Keyboard is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
