Take Your Calculations Old School With TI-84 CE - Classic Edition
Anyone who has ever taken a math class in high school or college is sure to remember the classic line of graphing calculators from Texas Instruments. And a new app is taking the calculator to your iOS device.
Aptly named TI-84 CE - Classic Edition, the app is designed to replicate the interface of the namesake calculator. It can cover everything needed for both high school and college math classes including pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, and more.
You’ll notice the same keys, commands, and function in the same location as the actual calculator. When using the calculator, you can use the arrow keys or fingers to navigate.
One of the big advantages using the app is a high-resolution graphing window when doing calculations.
Other features include the ability to scroll through the history and even copy previous calculations, store matrices and lists for calculations, and graphing every function and trace X and Y values.
There is also a dedicated catalog and help section that shows syntax help, examples, and error messages you might see.
Designed for the iPhone and all iPad models, TI-84 CE - Classic Edition can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99.
