Tetris Beat Will Arrive Soon on Apple Arcade With Unique Music and Rhythm Mechanics
An upcoming Apple Arcade addition will feature a new way to play an iconic game.
Tetris Beat will combine brick building with exclusive music and unique rhythm mechanics.
You’ll rotate and drop Tetriminos to the beat and keeping the rhythm to build the biggest combo chain possible.
There is also a Marathon mode for more traditional play where games can choose their soundtrack. There is also a split-screen view for play on on Apple TV.
In Tap mode, you’ll choose the most strategic Ghost Piece to top in time to the beat.
For each mode, you can select from one of three difficulties.
At launch, there will be 18 songs spanning dance, hip hop, and pop. New songs will arrive each month.
Along with physical controller support, the game will provide Spatial Audio when using AirPods Pro or AirPods Max.

You can try out Apple Arcade with a one-month free trial. After that, it’s $4.99 per month.
A subscription can be shared with up to six other members of your family with Family Sharing.
