For the third straight Monday, Apple has released a beta version of iOS 10.2 to registered developers. The third beta version can be downloaded now over-the-air or through Apple’s Developer Center.

The software offers a number of new features. Photographers should be happy to hear about the new Preserve Camera Settings feature. Instead of completely resetting after each time the Camera app is closed, you can select to preserve the last camera mode, photo filter, and Live Photo setting.

Also included are three new wallpaper options, a video widget, new emoji, and the TV app. The Emergency SOS feature that arrived with last week’s beta has disappeared in the newest version of the software.

Interestingly, starting with this beta version, the TV app takes place of the ubiquitous Videos app. It has apparently been retired for good.

At the same time, Apple also released the third beta of tvOS 10.1.

All of the software is scheduled to officially arrive to the general public before the end of 2016.
