On the sixth anniversary of the death of Steve Jobs, Tim Cook shared a tribute to the Apple co-founder and former CEO on Twitter.
Remembering Steve today. Still with us, still inspiring us. “Make something wonderful, and put it out there.” pic.twitter.com/7aOCPkwU0U— Tim Cook (@tim_cook) October 5, 2017
Jobs passed away in 2011 after battling pancreatic cancer.
To honor him, the new theater at the Apple Park campus was named the Steve Jobs Theater. The 1,000-seat theater includes a 20-foot-tall glass cylinder at its entrance, 165 feet in diameter, which supports a metallic carbon-fiber roof.
Apple hosted the first event at the theater last month to introduce the iPhone X and other new products. To begin the event, Cook shared a special tribute by using Jobs’ own words.
