tvOS 11 is Now Available for the Apple TV
Apple has just made tvOS 11 available to the general public. It can be downloaded by anyone with a fourth-generation Apple TV.
If you haven't enabled automatic software update, it just takes a few clicks of the Siri remote.
If you haven’t already enabled automatic updates, you can download the software by heading to Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software. Right the button to update software is the toggle switch to turn on automatic updates.
The new version of the software only offers minor changes including automatically changing the light/dark theme, home screen sync option, and new background modes/notification support.
tvOS 11 will also be powering the new Apple TV 4K that hits the market this Friday, Sept 22. It costs $179 for the 32GB model. A 64GB edition is $20 more.
