Tweetbot Update Brings Support for New 280-Character Limit for Tweets

Less than 24 hours after Twitter announced a major change by doubling the tweet limit to 280 characters, a new Tweetbot update has arrived to support the move.
You’ll need to download version 4.7.9 of the powerful third-party Twitter client to have up to 280 characters to speak your mind.
In announcing the change yesterday, Twitter said that during a small-scale test that most users didn’t go crazy with the increased character limit for tweets.
Tweetbot 4 for Twitter is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can also be accessed on the Apple Watch. The app can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99.
