Apple Releases watchOS 4.3 Beta 1 to Registered Developers

After Apple released the first beta versions of iOS 11.3 and tvOS 11.3 yesterday, the company has followed up with seeding watchOS 4.3 beta 1 to registered developers.

Here are some notable changes in the software:

  • There is now a Nightstand Mode when charging a watch in landscape orientation.
  • Activity information is now available to view in the Siri watch face.
  • The Music app can control music playback on an iPhone.
  • A new charging animation.

Earlier this week, Apple released watchOS 4.2.2 to the public with no major new features, instead focusing on behind-the-scenes improvements.
