The New Weather Atlas App is Ready for the 'iPhone 8'
Even though the “iPhone 8” probably won’t arrive until late next month, the new Weather Atlas app is ready. From Contrast, the developer of Launch Center Pro, the app offers a number fun features including the ability to select the icon on your home screen.
The app was designed for the taller screen of the "iPhone 8" in mind.
The app was designed from day one with the apparent longer screen of the next-generation iPhone in mind. It also blends in well with iOS 11.
On the iPad, tablet users can also take advantage of the Split View feature with the app.
For a specific location, you can view a complete 10-day forecast and an hourly look at all 10 days.
With the map, users can see the standard radar and cloud layers, temperature, humidity, and precipitation accumulation. There’s also a layer for different warning types.
Weather Atlas is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
A pro subscription is available for $4.99 per year or $0.99 per month. Subscribers won’t see any somewhat obtrusive ads and they can take advantage of different themes, widgets, and more.
