Reminder+ Makes Sure You Never Forget To Complete Your Tasks
Reminder+ ($1.99) by Attorno A Me S.R.L. is a to-do app that lets you trigger notifications in various different ways.
There are already hundreds of to-do apps in the App Store, each helping us remember more. Although most of them do a good job of helping make sure we forget less, most people haven’t found their perfect task management solution yet. Will Reminder+ be the app that changes that?
Reminder+ is a simpler to-do app, which is a good thing in my opinion. Although its simplcity makes it easy to navigate, it does mean it’s less powerful than some of the other solutions, including Clear, OmniFocus, and the default Reminders app.
Tabs at the bottom of the Reminder+ interface let you switch between lists of reminders that will be triggered in different ways. You can set a reminder that will notify you at a certain time or when you arrive at a location. You can also use a timer to trigger a notification.
The various different triggers mean you can set custom reminders for different types of tasks. If you want to remember to buy milk, you can choose to be reminded when you arrive at a store. The timer is quite useful too. For example, you could use it to remind yourself to turn the oven off after half an hour.
You can tap on each reminder to edit, share, or delete it. If you share a reminder with another Reminder+ user, it will automatically get added to their list.
There isn’t really much more to this app. The default Reminders app is more complicated, but is also more powerful in certain areas. For example, Reminders lets you synchronize your lists between devices, but Reminder+ doesn’t.
Reminder+ is a basic app that does help you remember things, but it’s not very innovative. With hundreds of task management apps to compete with, it needs to offer more in order to stand out.
You can get Reminder+ for iPhone for $1.99 in the App Store.
